Yahoo Buys MyBlogLog
TechCrunch reports confirmation that Yahoo has purchased MyBlogLog, the social networking site based in Orlando, Florida that allows users to aggregate information about themselves that others may read. The sale price is not known, but Forbes CES Blog suspects the amount is “a little over 10 million.” MyBlogLog was featured just last week on the Clickfire Webmaster Blog.

In the second social media acquisition by Yahoo! story in the last 12 hours, news has emerged that Yahoo! has agreed to acquire MyBlogLog. MyBlogLog is a blog community and analytics tool used here on TechCrunch (see sidebar) and many other blogs around the web. Just recently out of beta, the site gained traction in a hurry.
Today
Yahoo! has purchased Mybloglog.com, an Orlando, Fla.-based website that enables readers of web pages to leave information about themselves, building a social network among fans. Purchase price is supposedly in the $10 - 12 million range.
