GNi Enters Partnership with Monumental Games

Framingham, Massachusetts - (The Hosting News) - February 22, 2008 - Managed technology services firm, Global Netoptex, Inc. (GNi), has partnered with middleware online world developer, Monumental Games, to provide virtual world and MMOG hosting services to Monumental licensees.

GNi recently launched its Games and Digital Media division to focus on the specific needs of the virtual world and MMOG sector, having previously partnered with Icarus and BigWorld.

GNi Acquires Online Game Services

San Jose, California - (The Hosting News) - January 25, 2007 - Customer-centric managed services firm, Global Netoptex Inc. (GNi), has acquired long-term partner Online Game Services, Inc. (OGSi), in a transaction amounting to over approximately $3 million.

The deal is anticipated to strengthen the ability of both companies to provide compelling “pay-as-you-grow” game hosting solutions to the online games industry. OGSi has been developing its game service provider business model since its inception in June 2004. GNi Names New Director of IT

San Jose, California - (The Hosting News) - January 16, 2007 - Customer-centric managed services firm, Global Netoptex, Inc. (GNi), has created the position of Director of Information Technology, appointing William B. Hanegan in the role.

Reporting directly to company CEO Derek Wise, Mr. Hanegan will be responsible for overseeing the company’s IT and engineering teams and will have direct responsibility for prioritizing projects, managing budgets, implementing technologies and instituting innovations that improve customer satisfaction.

Previously, Mr. Hanegan was Director of Information Security at Randall Boyd Corporation, where he provided complete strategic oversight and coordinated practice lead and management functions. He successfully managed the growth of the company’s business risk management consulting practice and developed and implemented information security programs for several Fortune 500 companies. Earlier positions include manager of network services for Adecco, manager of network engineering for Ross Systems, Inc. and manager of technical services for Aames Financial Corporation.
