Recently, Digg launched a new tool known as DiggBar, which is essentially a Web gizmo that allows you to Digg items, read comments, and find related content from any point on the Web. Brian Cuban, a Digg poweruser with 30,000 diggs, over 40 front page story submissions and 500 comments bears his heart and tells the world the story of how he was banned by digg for using scripts to automate digging. He even had a story that was picked up by the Wall Street Journal that landed him ESPN and Fox News interviews. Digg.com users are protesting the removal of a story exposing the HD-DVD encryption key. The story is said to have received 15,000 diggs.
