The Lunarpages web hosting company is sponsoring a WordPress Theme contest. The best design wins $1,000 and 5 years free web hosting on Lunarpages Basic Plan.

The first time Lunarpages did an offer contest like this, they received 95 designs posted.

The contest is run via the Lunarpages Blog (blog.lunarpages.com) and relies heavily on community participation, where Lunarpages customers, staff, and even strangers just browsing vote for the winning themes. Each week, Lunarpages staff chooses the top 5 designs submitted and allows the community to vote. The winner automatically progresses to the finals for the chance to win the grand prize.
