Host Depot Enhances Dedicated Servers
Coral Springs, Florida - (The Hosting News) - March 5, 2007 - Web hosting solutions firm, Host Depot, will offer a comprehensive dedicated server solution to members of the VAR, ISV and SMB markets, through a new partnership with MailEnable.
The new partnership is part of Host Depot’s recently launched initiative to bring members of the aforementioned markets up to speed with today’s server technology, offering next generation, carrier class servers with first rate service and top quality software solutions.
According to the company, Host Depot chose MailEnable as a preferred Windows mail solution to coincide with its dedicated server initiative for a number of reasons. MailEnable offers a quickly installed, robust and scalable email solution that provides easy administration, while lowering implementation and management costs. It has the capacity to host several thousand users and domains, and offer high-end features such as web mail, IMAP and anti-virus scanning, whilst only requiring minimal hardware. The ability to cluster servers provides the scalability that Host Depot requires in order to expand with its growing customer base and allows their customers to take advantage of these same capabilities.
Peter Fregon, Product Services Director for MailEnable remarked, “MailEnable is glad to work with Host Depot by providing them with a solid platform for mail hosting that will ensure they can provide cost-effective and reliable email services to its clients.”
Jeff Pettit, VP of Sales and Marketing for Host Depot added, “This new relationship with MailEnable gives us an e-mail solution that works very well with our dedicated server offerings. By working in conjunction with our partners we are not only offering our customers carrier class servers at a great price, but we’re offering easy to administer software solutions to go along with our award-winning service; it’s a very comprehensive package that will continue to grow in the coming weeks.”
This initiative allows members of the VAR, ISV and SMB markets to purchase one of three new Dell PowerEdge(TM) server models starting at an introductory price of under $100 while the higher end models will remain under $400. The four service offerings include the server, operating system, large amounts of bandwidth and additional products such as MailEnable as a complete mail server solution. In addition, these plans allow members of the VAR, ISV and SMB markets the flexibility to customize their solutions to suit their needs, such as choosing different levels of MailEnable software, the standard version of which comes free.
MailEnable provides a powerful, scalable, hosted messaging platform for Microsoft Windows. MailEnable offers stability, flexibility and an extensive feature set allowing you to provide cost-effective mail services.
