GoDaddy ESPN2 Spot
Scottsdale, Arizona – (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) – November 8, 2007 – Web hosting domain registrar, GoDaddy, will debut the release of a new ESPN commercial, for its newest spokesperson, Amanda Beard, as she stars in her first TV appearance, scheduled for this weekend.
GoDaddy’s latest celebrity spokesperson swims in one of the new Go Daddy ads, set to debut during the ESPN2 Saturday Night College Football Primetime presented by GoDaddy.com.
Bob Parsons, CEO and Founder of Go Daddy remarked, ”Amanda is absolutely smokin’ – anyone can see that. What you get in the new commercials is her subtle, yet edgy sense of humor. Amanda is 100 percent GoDaddy-esque.” Mr. Parsons is referring to Ms. Beard’s performance in the ad titled Shock.
Ms. Beard commented, ”I knew I made the right move joining Go Daddy the day I met Bob Parsons. He and GoDaddy.com are all about being the very best, having passion and FUN.”
Go Daddy Productions filmed three thirty-second commercials with Ms. Beard last month in Los Angeles. Another element to the Shock commercial features a cameo appearance from swimming icon Mark Spitz, who wowed the world in the early 70s as the first-ever athlete to ”win gold” seven times. Mr. Spitz commented, ”Amanda is beautiful, edgy and smart, plus she knows how to push the envelope to success. She’s an exceptional fit for GoDaddy.com. Hey, I should know. My own web site is registered through Go Daddy.”
Go Daddy has leveraged its new spokespeople to help communicate its highly successful line of Internet products, such as Web hosting, domain names and SSL certificates. Ms. Beard’s new colleagues include Candice Michelle, the original Go Daddy Girl, WWE wrestler and fellow Playboy cover model, along with IndyCar’s most popular driver Danica Patrick and world land speed record holder and motorcycle drag racer Valerie Thompson. All-Pro wide receiver Chad Johnson is the only male on Go Daddy’s celebrity spokesperson team. From the sounds of it though, Mark Spitz, now a self-described entrepreneur, would like to join the Go Daddy Group.
Recently, GoDaddy debuted a new virtual community, designed to assist business owners, by providing an online networking resource. ”Go Daddy Connections” is an interactive resource designed to provide a virtual community for social and business networking. Go Daddy Connections will connect Go Daddy’s 4.6 million customers with topics, articles and forums, in order to promote the valuable exchange of helpful information, feedback and ideas to foster business leverage.
By the end of the year, according to research firm IDC, roughly 69 percent of small businesses, or 4.5 million firms, will have an online presence.
