Easy CGI Unveils .NET 3.5 Upgrade

The upgrade is designed to make it easier to build web site upgrades and provide compatibility with the newly-released Visual Studio 2008.
As with all upgrades, Easy CGI carried out extensive performance, compatibility and reliability testing, before launching .Net Framework 3.5. The 3.5 release builds incrementally on new features previously added in .NET 2.0 and 3.0, so current sites built using those earlier versions should enjoy a seamless migration to .NET 3.5. Expansions on previous versions with ASP.NET AJAX, the ability to use Language Integrated Query (LINQ), and a variety of other new tools for developers, make it simpler and faster to build applications using Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation. The newly released Visual Studio 2008, an integrated development environment, can also target .NET Framework 3.5 or previous versions.
